Receivers, Amplifiers, and Preamps: Tubes or Transistors

Our technicians love tubes and transistor-type equipment! If you have a pair of McIntosh MC40 mono-blocks driven by a C-20 preamplifier or a Sansui 9090DB or a Marantz 2275, we can restore your high-end audio equipment to near-perfect condition. Tube preamplifiers and amplifiers require tube replacements as well as complete electrolytic capacitor replacements. Precise bias adjustments are a must in order to deliver crystal-clean sound. We also use the very best in service chemicals that clean, lubricate, and apply an anti-oxidizing layer for your controls and switches. Many harsh cleaners in the Wild can damage sensitive potentiometer vapor-deposited wafers, therefore we use only Caig Chemical products on all preamp, amplifier, and receiver switches and controls.
